To support the children of Zimbabwe

The Mission Zimbabwe Project is holding its annual “Valentine” concert on Saturday, February 10th at Victoria Jubilee Hall in Walkerton. This year, local entertainers have donated their talents to provide an evening of entertaining and inspiring music. The concert will feature the return of popular pianist/singer, Sebastian Ellis from Markdale who was a big hit at the 2017 show. Mildmay native, Mike Derek will provide a medley of old time songs and Meaford native, Cam Fletcher will provide his unique style of country songs. Also featured are the ever popular Hanover based group, The Usual Suspects with their unique jazzy sound. Whether you enjoy country, gospel, contemporary, blues or toe tapping tunes, there is something for every taste at this variety show. Come out and support these mostly young local entertainers as they support the children at the Village of Hope and Vimbainesu Children’s Home. All proceeds will go to provide financial support for Vimbainesu Children’s Home and the Village of Hope in Zimbabwe.
Tickets for the event are only $15.00 and can be purchased by contacting Barry Mutrie at 519-363-3526 or in Walkerton at Brown’s Pharmacy and the box office at Victoria Jubilee Hall. In Hanover tickets will be available at Ashanti Coffee, Emke-Schaab Climate Care and Hope Community Church.
