An Owen Sound man is facing charges after having a run in with city police twice within a few hours.
Shortly after midnight police responded to the report of a male party in breach of his release conditions, the 30 year old arrested in the late Saturday afternoon for failing to comply with conditions of his probation order.
The male was released on a Promise to Appear and Officer in Charge undertaking and within a few hours was found breaching both his probation and new release conditions.
The male was arrested and now faces an additional 6 criminal charges including 2 charges of assaulting police.
Neither police officer sustained any injury.
The male will be held for a bail hearing later today.
