Ten new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed Wednesday in Grey Bruce.
Public Health says three are in Arran-Elderslie, two in Kincardine, one is in Southgate, two in South Bruce, one in Grey Highlands, and one is in Meaford.
The Health Unit says with seven recoveries, there are 28 confirmed active cases in the region and 12 active probable cases. Probable cases are not lab confirmed, but are symptomatic and are high-risk contacts of an active case.
The Health Unit says there are 149 High Risk Contacts associated with the region’s active cases.
Three people from Grey Bruce are currently hospitalized.
No one has died locally from the virus.
The outbreak a the Village Long-term Care Home in Hanover is declared over.
Errinrung long-term care home in Thornbury still has outbreak status.
Although school is out for the next while, one school has outbreak status, Normanby Community School in Ayton.
There are no outbreaks reported in childcare centres in Grey Bruce.
