Three new cases of COVID-19 were reported by the Grey Bruce Health Unit Monday.
Residents of South Bruce Peninsula, Saugeen Shores and Brockton tested positive.
With four more resolved cases, there are ten active cases in the region.
Public Health says there has been one case of the Brazil variant and one case of the South African variant in the region. They say those cases are resolved as identifying a specific variant can take 2-3 weeks.
One person is currently hospitalized due to the virus.
Over the course of the pandemic, there have been two deaths related to COVID-19 locally.
Public Health says 11,055 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Grey and Bruce to date.
One long-term care home, Brucelea Haven in Walkerton is under declared outbreak status. Public Health says there are no declared outbreaks in schools or childcare centres in Grey Bruce.
The note, they are working with Bluewater District School Board and the school bus company to address a probable case of COVID-19 associated with Kincardine District Senior School.
They say their assessment, to date, indicates transmission did not take place within the school environment.
