Public Health Grey Bruce reported 13 new cases of COVID-19 Sunday.
Three residents of West Grey tested positive along with three in Hanover, and one each in Owen Sound, Blue Mountains, South Bruce Peninsula, Northern Bruce Peninsula, Meaford, Grey Highlands and Brockton.
With eight resolved cases, the Health Unit says there are 82 known active cases in the region, including 16 active variants.
According to Public Health, the region’s cases have 357 high risk contacts.
One person is hospitalized in Grey Bruce due to COVID-19 and one case is hospitalized outside the region.
Over the course of the pandemic, four residents of Grey Bruce have died from the virus.
Public Health says there is a suspected outbreak in Beaver Valley School in Thornbury.
The Grey Bruce Health Unit is working with the Bruce Grey Catholic District School Board to address a confirmed case of COVID-19, associated with Immaculate Conception School in Formosa. The Health Unit says the individual with COVID-19 has been contacted directly and Public Health says it has identified all others, who may have been exposed.
No bus routes are involved with this case.
Public health also says there is a probable case of COVID-19, associated with St. Mary’s High School in Owen Sound.

There are no reported outbreaks in long-term care homes, retirement homes, or childcare centres in Grey Bruce.
