It’s the final day of the Nuclear Innovation Institute in Port Elgin’s Mission To Mars contest, where Teams of high school students from Grey Bruce work with a roster of scientists from the Canadian Space Agency, Bruce Power, and a former NASA researcher on how humans can create a livable habitat on Mars.
The final showdown is at 2 this afternoon. Judges from the Canadian space agency, Bruce Power, McMaster University and Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound MP Alex Ruff will decide on a winning team in the spring break challenge.
Bruce Power is donating a grand prize of $2,500 for the team that solves the most challenges and presents the most thorough and creative solutions.
