Owen Sound police say they arrested eleven people on Wednesday and Thursday.
Police say on April 28th during the day shift, nine people were taken into custody.
This included four men and two women who were arrested at different locations in the city on the strength of arrest warrants.
Police say the warrants were in relation to such charges as Theft, Operate While Prohibited, Fail to Attend for Identification, Fail to Comply with Release Order, Fail to Comply with Undertaking and Assault.
According to police, three of the individuals made court appearances that day, two others were released with future court appearance dates and an individual was turned over to the London Police Service.
Owen Sound Police say they also responded to a residence after learning a man had entered the home when he was not allowed to do so. The 34-year-old Owen Sound man was arrested and charged with two counts of failing to comply with a release order. He was remanded into custody after making an appearance in court later that day.
On Thursday April 29th, just after 7 a.m. police responded to Harrison Park with respect to a man attempting to break into a vending machine. The 40-year-old Owen Sound man made a court appearance, and was remanded into custody.
Also, just before noon a woman was arrested on the strength of a warrant, after a citizen called police about the theft of his bicycle. The 30-year-old Port Elgin woman was later released from custody with a court appearance date in June.
