Two Huron-Kinloss residents have been charged with drug and weapon related offences after OPP executed a search warrant in Lucknow.
South Bruce OPP say the warrant was carried out on Sept. 29 at a residence along Willoughby Street.
Police say they seized narcotics, drug paraphernalia and four “home-made” weapons as a result.
A 31-year-old Huron-Kinloss man was charged with numerous offences, including unauthorized possession of a weapon and carrying a concealed weapon.
According to OPP, a 32-year-old Huron-Kinloss woman was charged with simple drug possession (methamphetamine).
Both are scheduled to appear in court in November to answer to the charges.
Police say a third person at the scene — a 30-year-old from Howick Township — was taken into custody as well after being found to be subject to active arrest warrants.
