A Flesherton man faces a number of charges after a traffic stop.
Wellington County OPP say on February 15th, at about 2 a.m., an officer observed a grey sedan they say was traveling at about 135 km/hr along Wellington Road 16, in Wellington North Township.
The officer conducted a traffic stop.
OPP say, upon further investigation, officers located approximately 34,000 unmarked cigarettes as well as suspected methamphetamine.
OPP say, as a result of their investigation, a 39-year-old Flesherton man has been charged with Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine, Possession of Unmarked Cigarettes, Stunt Driving and Speeding.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph in April.
