The Township of Huron-Kinloss is welcoming a new Fire Chief.
The township says Jeff Bradley will join the local fire department on March 25 and comes to the role with over 19 years of experience in fire safety and suppression.
Mayor Don Murray says Bradley also has a proven history of continuing education as well as skills and leadership development.
Additionally, CAO Mary Rose Walden says Bradley has demonstrated proficiency in emergency response, incident command, fire ground training, project management, and more.
Bradley says he plans to develop stronger relationships with other emergency response teams.
“I’m looking forward to joining a well-established township leadership team as Fire Chief for the community of Huron-Kinloss. I’m honoured, proud and thankful for this opportunity and excited to serve the community and work with an outstanding group of firefighters. Leading both stations in public education, fire prevention and fire suppression is a responsibility I take seriously. My main goal is to ensure the safety and well-being of our firefighters and residents in our community,” says Bradley.
