The City of Owen Sound has released its report on council’s salaries and expenses for 2023.
Ian Boddy earned $58,400 for his work as the city’s mayor, while deputy mayor Scott Greig was paid just over $29,600. The salary of all other Owen Sound councillors was $25,803.
The mayor and deputy mayor also received additional compensation for their work as Grey County councillors.
As for expenses, Boddy charged city taxpayers the most last year: $9,325.
Councillor Suneet Kukreja had the lowest expenses number, $189.15.
