Owen Sound Attack goaltender Carter George is ranked second among North American goalies in NHL Central Scouting’s final report ahead of the entry draft in Vegas in June.
The report was released Tuesday morning.
George, 17, finished had the second-best save percentage (.907) among OHL goalies during the 2023-24 season, and tied for the league-lead with four shutouts. The Thunder Bay native had a 23-21-6-3 record in 56 appearances for the Attack.
Attack forward Sam McCue was also noted in the final NHL central scouting report, ranked No. 178 among North American skaters.
McCue joined the Attack in early January in a trade from the Peterborough Petes. The 18-year-old Sudbury native had 21 points (12-9–21) in 34 games for Owen Sound.
