Grey County wants to get the region’s young professionals together and it’s hosting an event in Berkeley for them to network at.
The County has hosted events like it before, but this time they have chosen the unique location of Rocklands Market with food from celebrity chef and artist – Roger Mooking.
It’s set for June 20th from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The County says Mooking is a globally recognized, Trinidadian born, Canadian raised restaurateur, author, tv host and award-winning recording artist.
He has been on the Food Network, Discovery Network and Travel Channel.
Grey County hosts the events with the goal of retaining young professionals in the region and also uses the events to highlight how many young people are working in the area.
County Economic Development Officer Jacinda Rudolph says, “In our region, the more opportunities they have to network and build their connections, the more chance they’ll stay and contribute to our growing economy.”
Young talented musicians JD Crosstown from Cape Croker and Alison MacGregor will also be there.
Participants should be between 19 and 40-ish years old.
