The Nuclear Innovation Institute in Port Elgin has a new president and CEO.
Its board of directors appointed Jessica Linthorne to the role, the organization announced in a release. She’s been serving as the institute’s interim CEO recently, and was previously chief operating officer.
“Jessica has demonstrated excellent leadership in her interim role at NII over the past several months, strengthening the organization and engaging members and communities,” says incoming NII Board Chair James Scongack in a prepared statement. “The entire NII team are strategic partners in advancing the nuclear industry, and the Board looks forward to the organization’s direction.”
The Nuclear Innovation Institure was founded in 2018 through a partnership between Bruce Power and Bruce County. The institute works to to help accelerate the pace of innovation in the nuclear industry.
