South Bruce OPP is investigating a collision between a truck and a horse.
The crash happened on King Street in Kincardine yesterday morning.
Police found that two horses were being ridden by their owners. They were riding northbound on King Street.
One horse was spooked by nearby construction, which caused the animal to run into traffic, where it was then struck by a vehicle.
The horse’s rider was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The road was temporarily closed for investigators to assess the collision.
