Grey Highlands is extending the deadline for the proposed Beaver Valley Village subdivision draft plan.
Council approved granting a three year extension to May, 2028 during its meeting on March 18.
This comes after council received an update to the proposed 370 unit proposed subdivision for part of the former Talisman resort lands last summer.
The proposal is to develop blocks for residential, recreation and mixed-use development, with additional space for future development, as well as natural heritage, and open space.
The development on the 29.74-hectare property is currently designed for 25 per cent to be for residential use, while the remaining 75 per cent would be protected and natural areas.
Grey County is the approval body for developments and the initial approval date for the draft plan lapsed in 2016. The approval date lapsed two more times in 2018 and 2020, with the third approval date coming up in May.
In response, the project applicant has requested another extension of three years to meet approval conditions.
