Owen Sound Police have arrested four youth suspects in relation to a recent theft at a west-side convenience store.
According to police, five masked suspects entered a store last Friday afternoon, stuffed their backpacks with about $800 in merchandise and left.
Police put out an appeal for tips earlier this week to help identify those involved. City Police did not disclose the store the theft occurred at.
Now, police say they’ve arrested four male youth and charged them with with theft under $5,000, disguise with intent and other offences. One suspect remains outstanding.
“Police would like to thank the public for their assistance, which contributed significantly in this investigation,” Owen Sound Police say in a release.
The identities of the accused are protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
