Land the big one in the Georgian Triangle Anglers Association 43rd annual Spring Trout Derby, April 19th to May 3rd. Make that cast to snag thousands of dollars in prizes! Tickets are $25 or $35 per family and proceeds support local conservation projects and businesses. Ticket outlets and weigh stations include Rick’s Happi Hooka in Collingwood; Gyles Sails & Marine in Thornbury, U-Catchum Charter in Meaford and Georgian Bay Outdoors, Midland, Sturgeon Point Marina in Wasaga Beach, Willie’s Sport and more, Wiarton and Watson’s Tackle House in Owen Sound.

Guest speaker, Deborah Beirnes, is a member of the Elmira Needle Sisters Quilters Guild. For the past number of years Deborah has focused on experimenting & teaching techniques to personalize & enhance borders. Deborah looks forward to sharing her knowledge through her colourful quilts. A show and share of recent work by our members will also be held.
