Playtime Casino Hanover is set to welcome guests on Friday as Ontario enters Step Three of its re-opening plan.
Gateway Casinos confirms all of its facilities are permitted to operate at 50 per cent capacity in Step Three.
Playtime Casino Hanover will open at 9 a.m. on July 16. The MATCH Eatery & Public House will also be open for indoor and outdoor dining that day.
“All Gateway Casinos will continue to apply the protocols recommended by the government, the Ministry of Health and local public health officials. These include PPE for staff, mandatory masking for guests, hand sanitation stations on the gaming floor, plexiglass barriers and social distancing,” a statement from the company explains.
Casinos are among the many indoor entertainment amenities that have been mandated closed for most of the past 15 months under Ontario’s Covid regulations.
