Janet Elizabeth McLaughlin

Peacefully, with family by her side on Sunday, September 19th, 2021 in her 80th year. Janet (nee Mooney) was the beloved wife for 59 years of Larry and the dear mother of Richard and his wife Virgina, Heather and her husband Doug and Scott and his wife Sheri.
Cherished Grandma to Kyle, Jacob, Sarah, Olivia and Sean. Dear sister to Doris Stahlbaum. Janet will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Matthew and Rose Mooney, her siblings Gordon Mooney, Mary Strezic and Agnes Mooney. Also, her in-laws Tom and Margaret McLaughlin and brother-in-law Bill McLaughlin.
A sincere thank you to all the Care Partner nurses, nurses of the oncology Unit of the Owen Sound Hospital, the nurses of the In-Patients Unit of the Southampton Hospital and the nurses of the Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce as well as Dr. Egles and Dr. Sandhu.
A private family graveside service will be held Saturday September 25th, 2021. Memorial donations to the Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492.
