Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at the Maple View Nursing Home in Owen Sound, on Tuesday, December 14th, 2021. Born on July 25th, 1923 in Lemberg, Saskatchewan, Bessie Marie McCauley (née Brennan) of Owen Sound, was in her 99th year.
Dearly loved wife of the late Clifford Nelson and the late Albert McCauley. Loving mother of Barbara Miller, of Guelph and mother-in-law of Wendy Nelson, of Owen Sound. Proud grandmother of 9 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Helen, Buddy and Shirley.
Predeceased by her parents John and Ruth Brennan, her son, Ron Nelson, her daughter, Darlene Nelson, her siblings William John, Neal, Leslie, Wayne, Jean, James
A private memorial service for Marie will be held at the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492 on Tuesday, December 21st, 2021 with Pastor Brian Jasper officiating. Spring interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
