Grey Bruce OPP have identified the victim of a fatal house fire in Meaford.
OPP say on November 27th, at approximately 10:50 p.m., the Inter Township Fire Department, Chatsworth Fire Department, OPP and Grey County EMS, responded to a report of a structure fire on the 10th concession in the Municipality of Meaford.
Police say one person was removed from the residence and pronounced deceased on scene. They have been identified as 81-year old Eldon Lynk, of Meaford.
OPP say the investigation is continuing with the assistance of the OPP Forensic Identification Services, in partnership with the Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario and the Ontario Fire Marshal.
