With her loving family by her side at Gateway Haven, Wiarton on Tuesday, January 3, 2022. Born in Mimico on December 31, 1928, Dolly Jean Schneider (formerly Cameron) (née Henderson) of Owen Sound, was in her 94th year.
Loving wife of the late Arnold Schneider (2012). Loving mother of BJ Davidson (Wayne) of RR#3 Allenford, Lou Cameron (Ken McMillan) of Toronto, Don Cameron (Mary Louise) of Owen Sound, and stepmother of Dennis Schneider (Margaret), Patricia Westerhout (Tim Widmeyer), and stepmother-in-law of Helen Schneider. Cherished grandma of Wayne Miller, Jennifer Davidson, Joseph Davidson, Michelle Priebe (Matt), Bryan Frazer (Emily), and great-grandma of Austin Socarras, Jacob Davidson, Liam Priebe and Wyatt Priebe. Doll will also be missed by her sister-in-law Pat Henderson and by her step grandchildren, step great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many long-time friends.
Predeceased by her mother Mabel Henderson, brothers Walter Henderson, Gordon Henderson (Gladys), and by her stepson Dan Schneider.
A memorial service to celebrate Doll’s life will be held in the spring of 2022 at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492. interment will then follow in Hanover Cemetery, Hanover.
