Audrey Irene Ramage (nee Hooper) of Rocklyn passed away at the Meaford General Hospital on October 1, 2020 in her 81st year.
Survived by beloved husband Austin Ramage, married for 61 years.
Loving mother (and mother-in-law) of Robert and Elizabeth of Georgetown, Paul and Wendi-Lee of Owen Sound, Cathy and Steve of St. Catharines, Dave of Rocklyn and Susan of Meaford. Cherished grandma of twelve and great-grandma of seven. Dear sister-in-law to Betty Erickson of Cambridge, Anna-Lee Ramage of Hepworth, Ann Ramage of Dundalk, Mervyn Dixon of Durham and Ralph Middlebrook of Welland.
Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her daughters Debra and Joan, her parents Violet and George Hooper, her brothers Ross, Roy, and Gordon Hooper, her sisters-in-law Edythe Dixon and Laura Middlebrook and her brothers-in-law Russel and Roger Ramage.
Audrey was an active member of the Rocklyn and Meaford card playing communities, and will be a dearly missed rival to many. Thank you to all of the nurses, doctors and hospital staff for their support and wonderful care for Audrey and her family.
Interment of cremated remains at McLean’s Cemetery, Bognor. Audrey’s celebration of life will take place at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Grey Bruce Cremation and Burial Services.
