Peacefully, at Georgian Heights nursing home, Owen Sound, on Friday, June 12th, 2020.
Glen Arthur Bell, of Owen Sound, at the age of 94 years.
Dear husband of the late Grace Bell (2007) for 59 years. Loving father of Greg Bell, and father-in-law of Linda Bell (late Gary, 2016), both of Owen Sound. Glen will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, George and Helen Bell (nee Linn), and his brother Stewart Bell.
Glen was one of the founding members of the Sydenham Sportsmen Association and loved spending time on the water fishing. Glen was a steel worker in his youth and also worked at Bell’s Cartage and Allied Van Lines. He continued on to work at Edwards for 30 years, where he retired, as a Lead Hand and Union Representative.
Friends may call at the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492), on Wednesday, June 17th, 2020 from 1:00p.m. to 2:00p.m. a Graveside Service will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Georgian Bluffs, at 2:30p.m. with Kristal McGee officiating. Visitation and the Graveside Service will be limited to 50 people.
