Police say a Kincardine resident is facing a stunt driving charge after being stopped for driving at double the speed limit.
Police say on July 25 around 7:58 p.m., a Huron County OPP officer was patrolling westbound on Amberley Road near Lucknow when they spotted a sport utility vehicle travelling eastbound at a high rate of speed.
Police say the driver was clocked at 161 kilometres an hour.
A traffic stop was initiated, and police say the 44-year-old driver of Kincardine was charged with speeding by 50 kilometres an hour or more.
Police add the involved vehicle has been impounded and the driver had their licence suspended for 30 days.
A court date has been set for later this summer.
