We have lost a very dear father, husband and friend on Tuesday, July 26th, 2022. Born on September 3rd, 1958, Donald William Kivell was in his 64th year. Don was the loving husband of Catharine Kivell of Chatsworth, a proud father of Travis Kivell (Vaniessa Van Huisstede) of Owen Sound and a dear brother of Wayne Kivell (Gwen) of Owen Sound. He is predeceased by his parents Florence Walter and William Kivell.

The memory of Don will be cherished in the hearts of those he has left behind. Memories of his passion for the outdoors, the joy brought to him by watching the birds and the wonder of flying balloons and kites are among the memories we hold dear. Don loved the beauty in the world and would frequently be found adding to that beauty by working his lawn tractor or growing his many flowers and veggies in the garden.

A visitation for Don will be held at the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492, on Friday, August 5th, 2022 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 6th, 2022 at 11 a.m. with Michael Henkel officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
