McCulloch, Fred, passed away peacefully at the Chapman House, Owen Sound on Tuesday September 29, 2020 at the age of 71 with loved ones at his side.
Beloved partner of Janice Eno for 36 years. Dear father of Mike of Port Elgin and Shane of Castlegar, B.C. and step father to Jeannie, Pam, Charlene, and Trudy Eno. Loving brother to Mary Jean and her husband Jaydee McMillan and Jim McCulloch. Fred will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, by his step brother’s wives, Donna, Adeline, and Suzanne and especially by his cat Boots. Predeceased by his parents Harry & Nellie, by his sister Florence Currie, and by his step brothers, Jack, Doug, and Bill Bell.
Fred was a carpenter by trade and followed in his uncle Dave Blundell’s footsteps as a builder. He built many fine homes in Southampton and some during his time in Calgary as well as he was proud to be a part of the building of the Guelph Storm Arena, the Perimeter Institute, McMaster University School of Medicine, and several Research in Motion buildings in Waterloo. Fred loved to go fishing and moose hunting up north with his friends and they often had success, he loved country music, and he enjoyed going to Tim Hortons and chatting with his friends.
Heartfelt thanks to the ICU nurses and Doctors at Owen Sound Hospital and Saugeen Memorial as well as Chapman House for their compassionate care.
Cremation followed by a Graveside Service to Celebrate the life of Fred McCulloch at the Southampton Cemetery on Wednesday October 7, 2020 at 1 p.m. Please bring your own chair.
