A local program has won two economic development awards.
The Clean Energy Frontier brought two Marketing Canada Awards back to Bruce, Grey and Huron counties from last week’s Economic Developers Association of Canada Conference.
The Clean Energy Frontier program, a public/private partnership between Bruce County and Bruce Power and hosted at the Nuclear Innovation Institute (NII) won in two categories:
1) The Single Publication (less than five pages) award for the Economic Impact of Clean Energy report
2) The Event award for last fall’s Clean Energy Innovation and Recovery Summit
Director of the Clean Energy Frontier program, Jessica Linthorne says, “The public-facing report publication and our Summit have helped us increase awareness of the nuclear industry’s contribution to our region — supporting economic development initiatives across Bruce, Grey and Huron counties.”
