Roger passed away unexpectedly with his loving family by his side, at the Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound, on Monday, October 31, 2022. Born on November 9, 1955, Roger Le Sauvage of Hepworth was in his 67th year.
Cherished husband and best friend of Vivienne Le Sauvage (nee Walker) for 44 years, and proud father of Roger Le Sauvage (Marcia), of Hepworth, Jacqueline Le Sauvage, of Hepworth, and Melanie Struthers (Robin), of Newmarket. Beloved grandfather of Cole, Mitchell, Dominic, Noah, Roger, Olivia, Todd, Madeline, Tye, Taliah and Troy. Dear brother of Larry Le Sauvage (Julie), of Hanover. Remembered brother-in-law of Rosalind Walker, Neil Walker (Kelly) and son-in-law of Margaret Walker. Predeceased by his parents, Fred and Annabelle Le Sauvage, his siblings, Bev Almas, Elva Palmer, Alf Le Sauvage, Jimmy Le Sauvage, Jessica Le Sauvage, his father-in-law Norman Walker and his brother-in-law Glenn Walker (Noreen).
Roger enjoyed his life and will be missed by those he met over the years, especially his coffee friends he would occasionally meet with at Tim Horton’s. He had a passion for automotives and held his career at McArthur Tire proudly for 52 years. His fondness for NASCAR, camping, snowmobiling, dogs and antique cars will be amongst the memories we hold dear to our hearts when remembering Roger.
A celebration of life for Roger will be held Friday, November 4, 2022 at the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492 from 3-6 p.m.
