Of Neyaashiinigmiing, peacefully at Grey Bruce Health Services Wiarton on Saturday November 5, 2022 at the age of 84 years.
Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews, Patrick Nadjiwon, Bev Nadjiwon, Chantal Nadjiwon, Clifton Pedoniquotte Jr., and Neil Pedoniquotte; and by her many great-nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Rose Nadjiwon, Ray Johnston, Robert “Bob” Johnston, Lucy Pedoniquotte, and Garnet Johnston.
Berdina dedicated her life to her role as a Registered Nurse, working for over 25 years at Princess Margaret Hospital, and them went to Saint Michael’s Hospital.
Friends may call at the Thomas C. Whitcroft Peninsula Chapel, 272 Berford St., Wiarton (519) 534-5341 on Monday November 7, 2022 from 7-9 PM. Further visitation will occur from the Maadookii Senior Centre, Neyaashiinigmiing on Tuesday November 8.
A Funeral Mass for Berdina will take place from St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Neyaashiinigmiing on Wednesday at 11 o’clock. Interment in Little Port Elgin Cemetery.
