It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mom, in her 97th year, on Thursday, December 1, 2022.
Survived by son, Larry (Carol). Predeceased by daughter Sherry, husband Ken and friend Wayne Compton. Dy was the youngest daughter of Alex and Annie Gumerson of Bar River. Predeceased by brothers Roy and Lyall and sisters Nellie and Eva. Dy will be missed by granddaughter Karen (Craig) and grandson, Robert (Christine). Cherished great grandma to Emily, Sarah and Jacob. Predeceased by granddaughter Lisa. She loved to talk to her niece, Sandie (Al) Brauti. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to the staff of Kelso Villa for the care they provided to mom for 8 years.
Mom made many friends over the years in Toronto, Mississauga and the Owen Sound area. She had a wealth of knowledge about the past and we will miss hearing about family history.
