Peacefully at the Gateway Haven in Wiarton, on Sunday, December 25th, 2022. Marilyn Ruth Schinbein (nee Cornish) at the age of 91 years.
Dearly loved wife and best friend of Bill Schinbein for 71 years. Loving mother of Barbara Lange, David Schinbein (Jocelyn), Tom Schinbein (Maria), Susan Stephens (Alan), Lorne Schinbein (Donna) and Paula Reed (Robert). Proud grandma of 12 and great-grandma of 9. Dear sister of Lenore Woods (Peter) and Judy Posthumus (Wietse). Marilyn will be missed by her many cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Tom and Anne Cornish, her son-in-law Guenter Lange, her daughter-in-law Jane Schinbein, her sister-in-law Donna Fisher and her grandson Stephen Lange.
Friends may call at the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Friday, December 30, 2022 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 6:00 – 8:00 pm with parish prayers at 5:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass for Marilyn will be held at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Holy Family Cemetery, Hanover in the spring.
