Mary Margaret Eden

Passed away suddenly at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound, on February 6, 2023. Born in Tara on May 6, 1934, Mary Margaret Eden (nee Spears) of Owen Sound was in her 89th year.
Beloved wife of Bill Eden. Loving mother of Bradley Eden (Kelly), Anne Leschinski, Nancy Shular, Glenn Eden, all of Owen Sound, and the late Andrew Eden. Dear grandma of numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Loved sister of Norman Spears of Meaford, Mary Lou Strong of Fergus, Alex McClure of Clifford, Bill McClure (Janelle) of London, and Wally McClure of London. Predeceased by her brother Elgin Spears and his wife Jeanie, sister-in-law Joan Spears, and brother-in-law Richard Strong. Marg will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th St. W., Owen Sound, 519-376-7492, on Sunday, February 12, 2023 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Monday, February 13, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of Marg’s funeral at 2:00 p.m. Spring interment to take place in Hillcrest Cemetery, Tara.
