Gerald Smith Reiley

Jerry passed away peacefully at his home with his loving family by his side, on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. Born on August 15, 1937, Gerald Smith Reiley, of Owen Sound, was in his 86th year.
Dearly loved husband and best friend of Donelda Reiley (née Pendergast) for 63 years. Loving father of Kim Mahon (Gary), of Owen Sound and Rick Reiley (Brenda), of Hepworth. Proud grandfather of Brodie, Luke, Stephanie (Greg) and great-grandson Max. Dear brother-in-law of Jack Pendergast (Louise), Doug Pendergast (Donna), Rose Shular, Muriel Schnurr (Bun) and Anita Pendergast. Jerry will be missed by his special niece, Cathy and many other nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents, Saul and Mary Lena Reiley, his siblings, Mel Reiley (Kay), Everett Reiley and Jack Reiley (Marion) and his in-laws, Jean Shular (George), Ken Shular and Lawrence Pendergast.
Jerry’s interests over his lifetime included race horses, driving/racing his trotters, woodworking and regular visits at the coffee shops.
Friends are welcome to join the family for a Come and Go Reception at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #6, 1450 2nd Avenue West, Owen Sound on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to the Brian E.
