Saugeen Shores council has approved an agreement to enter into a mutual aid fire agreement with South Bruce Peninsula for a stretch of land along Highway 21.
The agreement will see Saugeen Shores fire provide mutual aid through initial fire protection and response to calls on the south side of the highway between Denny’s Dam Road by the Saugeen River and B Line, not far from Scotch Settlement Road in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula.
On the north side of the highway, Saugeen First Nation Fire responds to calls.
