Passed away peacefully at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at 92 years of age. Predeceased by parents Walton and Jean (nee Webb) Buckton.

Beloved husband of 72 years to Arlene Buckton (nee Uhrig). Loving father of Ron (Jackie) Buckton, Gary Buckton, and Steve (Birgit) Buckton. Cherished grandfather of 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Dear brother of George Buckton.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd., Cambridge, on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 from 11am until the time of the Funeral Service at 1 pm, followed by reception. The Funeral Service for Orval will be live streamed with a link on the funeral home website. Interment will take place at Zion Cemetery, County Road 8, Bruce County (Hepworth) on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at 1 pm with a reception to follow at Calvary Evangelical Missionary Church, 655 10^th Street West, Owen Sound.

In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
