Peacefully, with her husband and 2 close friends by her side, on Saturday, May 25, 2024 in her 53rd year.
Nicole, loving wife of Ray Uotila. Beloved daughter of Andy Amos and the late Sandy (nee Ryckman). Dear sister of Cindy Stewart, and Wanda and her husband Rick Frechette. Dear daughter-in-law of Vesa Uotila and the late Aino. Dear Loving Aunt of Jesse, Melissa, Rochelle, Brandon, Esa, Teemu, and Masi. Proud Great Aunt of Abigail.
A Living Celebration of Nicole’s life was held at Chapman House Hospice, Owen Sound on Thursday, May 16, 2024.
Special thanks to all at Bright Shores Health System, Owen Sound, the paramedics and all at Grey County EMS and the Community Paramedic Program, Dr. Jonathan Lau and all at London Health Sciences Centre, Dr. Tsang, Dr. Mason and all at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Dr. Cox and all at the Owen Sound Family Health Team, Dr. Yurkiw, all at Home & Community Support Services of Grey Bruce, all at Closing the Gap Healthcare, all at ParaMed, all at VON Grey-Bruce, Dr. Fenn and all those at the Palliative Care team and everyone at Chapman House.
A very special thank you to family, friends, acquaintances and colleagues who attended Nicole’s Living Celebration of Life, visited at home, called, sent cards, flowers and all the gifts of food, gift cards and other gifts.
Nicole gave her money, knowledge and time to causes and organizations serving our community, she admired those who did the same.
