Peacefully at Grey Gables Nursing Home, Markdale Saturday August 10, 2024. Virginia ‘Ginny’ Davis-Tooke of Markdale and formerly of Sauble Beach and Tobermory in her 86th year. Beloved wife of Ronald of Owen Sound and formerly of Sauble Beach. Cherished mother of Lynda Davis (Murray Hill), Raymond Davis (Tracey) and Bradley Davis, Loved grandmother of Bradley, Nolan, Adam and Rachel. Dear sister of Doris Reed (Ed pre) of Thunder Bay. Fondly remembered by step-children Wendy Pullen (Doug), Bradley Tooke (Lori) and Jeff Tooke (Diane) as well as 4 step grandchildren and 6 step great grandchildren. Missed by the entire Tooke family. Predeceased by parents Michael and Tina Ilyn, sisters Marie Pagluica and Susan Sigurdson and brother Henry Ilyn.
The funeral service will be conducted at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton on Friday, August 16, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Interment Colpoy’s Bay Cemetery.
