Peacefully at the Kensington Village Long Term Care Home, London, on Wednesday, August 28th, 2024. Born in Wiarton, Ontario on July 17, 1943, Dorothy Alma Lamont, of London, Ontario was 81.
Dearly loved wife of the late Robert Lamont. Loving mother of Laurie Chappell (Cory Tremblay), of London, Rick Chappell (Shannon), of Owen Sound, Lee Chappell (Sandra), of Alberta and step-mother of Sharon Johnston (Jim), of Burlington, Marion Padfield (Terry), of Surrey, B.C., Joyce Howe (deceased) and her husband Tom, of Guelph, Jim Lamont, of Stratford. Proud grandmother of sixteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by her parents, Irene & Leslie Daws (McGregor); her sisters, Marj, and Fran and her brother, Walt.
Dorothy will be forever remembered for her quick wit, generous heart and deep love for her family and friends. Many friends and customers will have great memories of Dorothy sharing a laugh while eating her delicious baked goods at two local downtown coffee shops.
The family would like to thank the staff at Kensington Village in London Ontario for the exceptional care they provided to Dorothy over the last two years.
