Brenda Kathryne Long

Peacefully at Lee Manor on Wednesday, August 28, 2024. Born in Walters Falls on August 4, 1936, Brenda Kathryne Long (nee Speck) of Owen Sound, was in her 89th year.
Beloved wife of the late Gordon Long and of the late Leonard Mundle. Proud mother of Barry Long of Owen Sound and Paul Long (Joanne) of Owen Sound. Loving grandma of Serenity Morton and Kyle Ranton .Cherished great grandmother of Preston and Madison Morton. Brenda will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by her parents Russel and Fredricka Speck (nee Abercrombie), her son Tony Long, and her grandson Chance Morton.
Brenda loved dancing, travelling and would often be found enjoying some time by the beach. Her smile will be missed at her church functions and services, which she attended as much as she could.
A funeral service to celebrate Brenda’s life will be held at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492, on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at 2 p.m., with Rev. Bill Bruce officiating with visitation two hours prior. Interment will take place in Annan Cemetery followed by a reception at the Annan Church.
