Peacefully, with her family by her side, at Chapman House Hospice, Owen Sound on Monday, September 16, 2024 in her 64th year.
Laura, beloved wife and best friend of Dean McCallum. Incredible mother of Sarah Elizabeth Town (Chris Proulx), and Laura Louise Town. Devoted grandmother to five wonderful children: Ava, William, Leo, Elijah, and Connor. Loyal and loving sister to Chuck Laviolette (Lisa). Loving aunt to Peter. Laura adored her many cousins scattered about the Belle Province of Québec and beyond. She was very much loved and admired by the McCallum family.
Predeceased by her parents Norm and Marjorie Laviolette, and her nephew Kale Laviolette.
A Celebration of Laura’s life will be held Thursday Sept 26 at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 6, 1450 2nd Ave West, Owen Sound from 1:00pm – 4:00pm with Words of Remembrance to be given at 2:00pm.
Memorial donations to the Grey Bruce Hospice – Chapman House or Brightshores Health System Owen Sound Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
