Bernice Evelyn Madill

Peacefully at Southbridge Long Term Care Home in Owen Sound, on Thursday, October 10, 2024. Born in Eugenia Falls on May 13, 1939, Bernice Evelyn Madill (nee Semple) of Owen Sound, was in her 86th year.
Beloved wife and best friend of the late Harold Madill. Proud mother of Connie Buckton (Bob) of Meaford, Rhonda Fyvie (Kelly Weatherall) of Owen Sound, and Bev Madill of Brantford. Loving grandmother of Tim Buckton (Liz), Ryan Buckton (Emily), Will Madill, Angela Lehtinen (Steve), Leah DiRenzo (Jamie), and Alycia Young (Jessie). Cherished great-grandmother of Olivia Buckton, Alex Lehtinen, Gavin DiRenzo and Easton DiRenzon. Bernice will also be missed by her nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by her parents Ernest and Jean Semple, and her son Christopher Madill.
A funeral service to celebrate Bernice’s life will be held at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th St. W., Owen Sound, 519-376-7492, on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior,followed by a reception at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
