Grey Bruce OPP have provided an update about a fire in Varney Friday.
Police say on October 18th, at 12:06 a.m., they received a report that the West Grey Fire Department was en route to a fire at a residence on Highway 6.
When police arrived they found West Grey Firefighters on the scene, working to extinguish flames that had fully engulfed a home.
OPP say the residents of the home were safe outside.
The OPP say they don’t know what the cause of the blaze was, but the fire is not being treated as suspicious.
