Peacefully, surrounded by her family,on Saturday October 26,2024 at Brierwood Gardens, Brantford. Elma Menary (nee Talbot) formerly of Brampton and Flesherton, in her 96 year She is reunited with her beloved husband JJ( John James). Loving mother of Larry (Liz) of Cambridge. Cherished Nanny of David (Julie) of Cambridge and Melissa of Guelph
Proud Great Nanny of Alexis,Mikayla and Savannah Loved and remembered by many nieces and nephews
Elma was born in Flesherton to Lloyd and Maggie Talbot. Brothers Everret and Burton.
She loved going to dances and that’s where she met the love of her life JJ. They made their home in Brampton. When Larry was older they loved to go see him race his horse
Elma and JJ spent many winters in Florida and met many wonderful friends. They bought a motor home and enjoyed camping in the summertime. Any music or dancing Elma would be there .later in life she enjoyed watching her grandson race
The family will receive friends at Fawcett Funeral Home, Flesherton on Wednesday October 30 from 1:00 until the time of service at 2:00pm. Interment Flesherton Cemetery.
