John "Jack" David Lyall

Peacefully at Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce, Owen Sound on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Born in Toronto, Ontario on May 29, 1933, John “Jack” David Lyall was in his 92nd year.
Beloved husband of the late Arlene Lyall (nee Flint). Loving father of Patti Wray (Rob) and Michael (Wendy). Cherished grandpa of Conor Wray, Morgan Lyall (Erik Peterson) and Matthew Lyall (Kariya Beach). Dear brother-in-law of Warren Flint (Christine Richards). Jack will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Predeceased by his parents William and Mary-Ann Lyall (nee Shangraw), siblings Don Lyall, Fergus Lyall and Janith Kings, his brother-in-law Robert Flint and sisters-in-law Carol Paine and Laurel “Lonnie” Walker.
A special thank you to the staff at John Joseph Place and Chapman House for the compassionate care given to Jack and his family. In keeping with Jack’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held. Arrangements are entrusted to Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492.
