Marilyn passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 5th, 2024 at Brightshores Health Systems in Owen Sound. Born in Owen Sound on January 1st, 1952, Marilyn Catherine McCoy (nee McNabb) of Rockford was in her 73rd year.
Beloved wife the late Fred McCoy. Cherished mother of the late Catherine McCoy.
Loving sister-in-law of Shirley Given, Jack McCoy (Yvonne), Wayne McCoy (Brenda) and Keith McCoy (Marlene), all of Wiarton. Marilyn will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Predeceased by her parents William and Margaret McNabb (nee Hughes).
A funeral service to celebrate Marilyn’s life will be held at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492 on Thursday December 12th, 2024 at 2 pm. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Owen Sound. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Chapman House are appreciated.
