South Bruce OPP say there is an increased police presence in the Municipality of Brockton.
Police say on Saturday, officers from the West Region OPP Emergency Response Team, West Region OPP K-9, and OPP Aviation Unit responded to an incident along Schmidt Lake Road just after 2 p.m.
While on the scene, police say officers interacted with an individual who was safely taken into custody.
There will continue to be an increased police presence in the area, but OPP says there is no threat to public safety.
The investigation is ongoing and more details will be provided when available.
