In anticipation of the lockdown starting on Boxing Day, the town of the Blue Mountains is making some changes.
All municipal facilities will be closed to the public starting on Thursday, December 24th.
The closures will stay in place until the province ends the shutdown and until it is deemed safe to open for public access.
Facility closures include: Town Hall, Beaver Valley Community Centre and Arena, Craigleith Community Centre, Ravenna Hall, The Blue Mountains Public Library and the Craigleith Heritage Depot.
In addition, the Town would like to advise residents of the following operational update:
• A special meeting of Council has been scheduled for Monday, January 4, 2021, at 1:00 pm to discuss the impacts of the Provincial shutdown and necessary actions to support the community and businesses.
