White, Shirley – peacefully at her Wiarton residence on Thursday August 13, 2020.
Shirley Isabelle Joyce White (nee Tuffnell) at the age of 72 years. Loving partner of Yvon Tringle. Devoted mother of Bob White, and Carol White (Mike Vlietstra), both of Wiarton. Cherished grandmother of Christina Vlietstra; and great-grandmother of Cohen Henderson. Sister of Ruby (Gary Jackson), of Wiarton, and Marie (Dave White) and Darlene Laraway, both of Owen Sound.
Sadly missed by her cousins, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Glenn and Olive; husband, George White (2004); and son, Colin.
A visitation for friends and family will be held at the Thomas C. Whitcroft Peninsula Chapel, Wiarton (519) 534-5341 on Monday August 17, 2020 from 11 – 12:45. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a maximum of 50 people will be allowed in the building at any given time, and visitors are asked to wear a mask and follow physical distancing rules. A private service for the family will take place following the visitation. Interment in Colpoy’s Bay Cemetery.
